Here’s a close up of one of my personal favourites.
This sapphire and diamond bracelet is remarkable in several ways – most notably its quality and exceptional variation in colour. Pink sapphire and purple sapphire are often coloured by iron and titanium impurities. Most yellow sapphire is naturally on the lighter side – smaller traces of iron can cause yellow and green hues in stones. Many green sapphires consist of fine alternating bands of blue and yellow sapphire, only visible under a microscope.
